I saw this restaurant online and when I say I was beyond impressed it's true. I walked in and was immediately welcomed by the woman at the front, she was more than happy to be there and answered every question I had with a smile! I then got my food and boy was it good! Their fries were yummy, however I would look for a little more salt on them. The burger was fresh and filling! While I saw a review saying the cheese overtook the burger I don't think it did, I think there was a great balance. The vibe inside of the restaurant was nice it's a bit small however I think it kept the vibe homey. Overall I think this restaurant is a great pit stop if you are in the area.
I was not sure what to expect until I got there. The place has a small lot in back to park and it's got a small eating area. When we got there there was some local kids ordering after their baseball game. And they took up a lot of the place. So we decided to take food to go. Guy behind the counter was super nice and we had a laugh while waiting. For my food to arrive. It took a bit, bc of the kids, but it was fine. The special sauce is a must when u go! Got a double double with everything and bacon added on with fries on the side. Their ice cream machine was not working so could not get a shake but other than that this place hits!
If you are a fan of In-N-Out, this place will not disappoint. Closest thing we have in the Chicago area. Excellent double double and fries. The shakes are pretty good too.
The food is fantastic and all offerings are reasonably priced. Everything is cooked to order but still comes relatively quickly. It's window service with pleasant staff. Bare bones on the decor, but it kept clean and well maintained. If you are a fan of In-N-Out Burger, their "Two-N-Two Burger" is a great clone of INO's "Double Double": The fresh cut fries are great also. Give it a try!
The Sandlot is amazing! I had it for lunch today for the first time. It looks like a small hole in the wall lunch joint, but don't pass it up when you see it. I only tried the burgers, but wow were they amazing! They're made fresh to order, the special sauce is also great - I like it on the side but you can get it on your burger as well. Friendly and quick service, and free refills on soft drinks. Definitely worth checking out.
Craved a burger, wished I would have been able to pick up but had to have it delivered. The burger was perfect but the fries didn't fare as well in transit. Such a great burger joint!

The place looked empty when I entered, maybe one person. I came up to the counter and ordered their Two-N-Two and some fries. It didn't take too long for my food to come out. I started with fries and they were pretty good! I liked the fact that they were hand cut, not pre-frozen kind. I ordered my burger without onions (had to go back to work and deal with people), and it was pretty delicious! I think their special sauce was the difference! Overall an A experience! If I am ever back in the neighborhood, I will stop by!
No frills place, reminds me of an In N Out. I ordered the Double Double, er, I mean the Two-N-Two. In my hurry I neglected to order their fresh cut fries. Doh! I wouldn't be surprised if they have a secret menu with Animal Style. Prices are good, staff is friendly. Everything is made to order. The burger was delicious. Perfectly seasoned, fresh ground beef. Fiance's chocolate shake was freshly made and tasty too. I'll definitely be back for another burger, and I'll be sure to ask for fries. SECOND VISIT: Fantastic burger, fries were okay but slightly undercooked. I don't like floppy fries. Three stars for the fries, five for everything else.
Been eyeing thus burger place for awhile since it's right near my gym. Came to grab the 4x4 and was excited to see they give the option for raw vs grilled onions. The service was great and everyone was very nice. The anbiance of the store was casual and okay but I cared less for that since I was getting to go. The burger was definitely meaty and delicious. I wish it had some options for more kick/sauce options but otherwise was perfect. Definitely glad to find a nearby burger spot for those craving days!
